About Me
- Elizabeth
- I am a 30-something single Mama living in North Carolina with my amazing baby girl and big, dumb (but sweet) dog. My daughter Abigail has a condition called craniosynostosis, which means the sutures in her skull have fused prematurely. She had surgery to correct it on September 21. I created this site to keep family and friends updated as we go through the surgery, recovery, and beyond. Welcome!

And she doesn't even make the pucker-y face!! Brave little one, and beautiful too!
I'm so impressed she can slurp down a lemon like that.
And her scars look fantastic.
TEEHEE! you silly mommy! i'm envisioning a scenario like this: "ok dab, you don't want bananas? lets try this!" *hands over lemon* .... *dab thoughtfully gnaws at lemons, dab likes lemons!* ... whadda you know! :) i know i say this every time, but man she's getting big! are ya'll going up to MD for thanksgiving? or is the walter crew comin down? abby-dabby's first turkey day! how cool! this year, i can tell you what, i am THANKFUL for abigails birth, and her resilience in the face of these health challenges. and i'm THANKFUL to have a lza... one strong-ass, grown-ass woman who is now a mommy... (and still manages to be the best friend ever, even 600 miles away!!) i love you & dab both, and will be thinking about you when i'm eating with the fam :) they too, will send their turkey-stuffed love!
